About Us
MGL Math Center is a small-group math tutoring center in Glenview, IL for students in grades 2 through 11.
Classes have six students at most and meet at the same day and time every week. Every student works on their own plan, built from a free in-person math checkup at the start. We help students catch up on missing basics, move ahead into accelerated and honors math, and prepare for ACT and SAT math and competitions like MOEMS, Math Kangaroo and AMC.
The center was founded by Bayar, who competed in math at the national level, trained for the International Math Olympiad, and has been teaching math for over ten years. He still teaches most of the classes.
Every session is logged: skills covered, what was remembered from earlier weeks, homework completion and accuracy, and focus. Parents get a written progress report by email every month, without having to ask.
Book a free math checkup at mgltutor.com or call (847) 220-4242.
