Born in Riga, Latvia, Alex Filin immigrated to Chicago in 1990. Growing up in Skokie, IL, he embraced resilience and community—values that drive his mortgage career. Before joining the industry in 2015, Alex spent nearly a decade as a Financial Advisor, equipping him with a holistic approach to structuring loans.

Since then, he’s helped over 1,200 clients fund $450 million in loans. Fluent in Russian and dedicated to making homeownership stress-free, Alex is committed to his clients’ success.

Alex lives in Glenview, IL, with his wife of 10 years, Jenny, their 7-year-old daughter, Piper, and their Goldendoodle, Jeffrey. In his downtime, he enjoys golfing, cheering on his brother Nikita—a tennis standout at The Ohio State University—and making memories with his family.
